Swimming

 

We stayed the night at Mom's and had another fun day of swimming.  I was supposed to work the grave last night but Gabrielle didn't feel good so I stayed home with her, which I was OK with.  After taking time off for our Oregon vacation I was supposed to work 4 graves in a row and I was tired.  I was happy to get a good nights sleep!  We had fun with Everest as well, he is so cute!

Cousins

 My cousin Lindsey is in town for a wedding and stayed at my Mom's last night.  The girls and I picked Brad up from the airport and met at my Mom's to go swimming.  We were happily surprised to have Kellie, my cousin Kevin's wife and 3 kids there that drove down from Idaho.  We all had so much fun swimming and playing with cousins!

Wasatch Mt. State Park

 

Ali and I started out this morning to hike with the kids and ended up at this river.  The kids played great together for over an hour.  They built this fun lean to.  I am so glad that we have gotten out several times this summer with friends hiking.  It is so good for them to enjoy nature.

Bike ride

We rode 21 miles today with Papa Fife down Snoqualmie Pass.  David had done it a few weeks before with the YW from his ward.  The girls did great and we had fun but both said they would never do it again.  It was downhill but not super steep.  It was an old train route and the first 2 1/2 miles were through an old train tunnel, super dark and cold but a fun experience.   We rode across several trestles and the views were pretty amazing.  We started at the Hyak trail all the way to Rattlesnake lake.  Diana, Emily and Vanessa met us at the bottom with sandwiches for dinner.  We stopped in Isaquah at XXX for Root beer floats to celebrate national root beer float day.

Seafood lunch.  I did not grow up eating seafood so I wasn't a big fan.  Since marrying Brandon I will try it occasionally and this trip I ordered seafood for every meal.

 Safeco field Mariners game.  They are retiring Ken Griffey Jr. number tomorrow night, he made a quick hello tonight.  It is always fun to be at the ball park and even better when they win!

We had such a fun day in Seattle today.  The weather was perfect and there were people everywhere we went!!
