U of U Football

We had tickets to the U of U vs. Utah State, but never made it. The weather turned really cold and wet, even snow in some places.





We decided to go to go to lunch and then the Aquarium. We have never been to the aquarium, Gabrielle had a wonderful time looking at all the fish, she loves to make fish faces.

We then went to Ikea for a new little table. We had a great day and will have to try a game another time. The Utes did end up winning, Go Utes!!

Daddy's Helper

Gabrielle wanted to follow Brandon around while mowing, so we decided to do this to make it easier for both of them. She had the best time.

Fall

We had a frost earlier in the week that killed off the rest of our garden. We were able to get a few orange pumpkins and red tomatoes and we are hoping the rest of the green pumpkins and window sill full of green tomatoes will ripen. The mornings have been quite cold, but beautiful sunny warm afternoons.

Wedding

My cousin Stephanie was married last weekend. It was a beautiful day and was sure fun to see all the family.

Dinosaur Park

Gabrielle and I went to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden for a little bit, while my Mom, Aunt Caroline and cousin Stephanie biked the Ogden trail that ends up there. We need to go back when we have more time.

Pumpkin Cake

I love fall; the colors, the smells, my birthday, the list goes on and on, and what better way to start it off then with some Pumpkin cake and cream cheese frosting! Gabrielle enjoyed licking the beaters and spatula, a first for her.

Cutie!

Gabrielle was so cute when we saw her at the airport! We had gone to FAO Swartz and brought her back a Kitty Cat and a Duck, both sounds she loves to say. She loved those and kept grabbing for the bag looking for more!

Broadway

We saw two shows, Lion King and Les Miserable. Lion King was fabulous, the costumes and puppetry was so amazing.

Empire State Building

It was a beautiful day and we had really great views of the city.

Yankees Game

Brandon really wanted to go to a Yankees game, to see the stadium before they tear it down. It worked out well that they happened to be playing the Mariners, unfortunately the Mariners didn't win, but it was a great game. Brandon was keeping score by hand up until about the 6th inning, when A-Rod hit two home runs in the same inning! It went downhill from there.

New York City

Brandon and I spent five days in NYC last week and had a wonderful time. We took in quite a few of the sites and returned to our hotel room exhausted each night after walking all day! We were sure excited to return home to Gabrielle, she was so cute when she saw us.
