We had a wonderful Christmas Day. Santa came and the girls loved their new doll house, Tabitha would get behind it and just play and be talking and singing. It was fun to have Brandon's family here to celebrate, they sure spoiled us! I am getting a laundry room makeover, which I am very excited about and Emily gave me a bound book of my 2007 blog entries, I love it!

Christmas Eve

One Wiseman and an Angel

Emily did a cute Scavendar Hunt to find their p.j.'s and a book to read, so they wore rudolph noses to lead the way.

Leaving cookies and milk for Santa and some carrots for the reindeer.
We had a great Christmas Eve at our home. Brandon's parents and sisters, Emily and Vanessa flew in that afternoon to spend the week with us. My family all drove in to celebrate with us as well. We had a nice dinner and snacks and then read and acted out the nativity. My mom also brought some chimes and we sang a few christmas songs. It was sure a fun night and we are grateful that we were able to be with both of our families!

Sledding

Brandon and the girls enjoyed sledding on Christmas Eve. They were so cute when I showed up to take photos and so proud of themselves that they did it all by themselves.

Ballet

her biggest fan!

Whole class getting ready for dress rehersal

Gabrielle had her first ballet performance on Saturday. She did great and we are so proud of her. They danced to "Here comes Santa Claus", at their performance Santa came out on stage a bit early. They did what they were supposed to do when he came out, but it cut their dance a bit short, but they were all really good and cute anyway. She also wore a little santa hat, but I didn't get a photo of that for some reason.

Santa

We had our annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning. It is such a fun event and we are so grateful for Kristen for inviting us each year! Gabrielle did very good and walked right up, Tabitha was a bit more nervous but did sit on his lap. Here's hoping that he will bring everything they want!

Temple Square Christmas Lights

bagpiper who jumped in the photo. He sounded really good and the girls loved listening to him.

We stayed the night in Salt Lake last night and enjoyed walking around Temple Square to see all the pretty lights. We timed it pretty good so that we were walking around while the Tabernacle Choir concert was going on, but there was a still a lot of people. Always a fun tradition this time of year and we stayed pretty warm.

Beautipul...

Beautipul, Beautipul. Tabitha is so cute and while coloring the other day kept saying, "my picture is beautipul, beautipul, beautipul. It is even cuter in person than I can type, so next time you see her ask her to say Beautiful, you will love it as much as I do.

Christmas Sweaters

My sister Kristen thought it would be fun to put on some of my mom's old Christmas sweaters and take a photo. We always take a photo when we are together and then have to take a funny face photo. Brandon didn't think he could be serious the way he was dressed so he had a funny face in a normal photo and a normal face in our funny photo!

Hygiene Kits

My friend Laura gave me a great idea last year for our Christmas this year that she had done with her family. We collected items all year long to put together Hygiene Kits for the LDS Humanitarian Center. We got together last night and had fun puttting the items we had collected together in kits. Such a great feeling doing something for so many people that have a need. We put together nearly 50 kits and have at least 20 others that we need a few more items to complete. We did the same project at the beginning of the year with the activity day girls that I was over in our ward. We also took a tour of the humanitarian center which was really amazing. The church really does a great job and helps so many people worldwide.

U vs. Y

Brandon and Chip made a bet last year in regards to the big rivalry game between University of Utah and BYU. Which ever team won the game the other person had to fly the winning flag for a week. This is what we got to look at all last week, it was great. We sure are lucky to have such great friends who are good sports. Poor Chip had to see red all week while sitting in his office and their boys made sure they wore blue all week so the their friends knew who they really supported. We flew the blue flag last year so at least we have each had a turn, it was pretty painful for Brandon.
