Sweater weather

The weather turned cold and rainy and snowy today, so we broke out the winter clothing. It won't last long and soon we might be wearing shorts! Gabrielle sure loved it and sent Brandon outside for snowballs to eat.

Diaper change

Tabitha was really cute today and carried her baby around changing her diaper. Gabrielle helped her get a stool so that the baby wouldn't "wiggle" around and then Tabitha changed and rechanged her diaper.

*I was able to get all the crayon out of the girls chairs, which I was really happy about.

Birthday

My friends surprised me with lunch and cupcakes which the kids couldn't wait to dive in! I was so happy and grateful for their surprise and friendship. Later that night we had more cupcakes and opened presents with the girls and Brandon.

Preschool

We are doing a little preschool co-op with a few of my friends for Gabrielle. She has been so excited and today was her first day, she got herself all ready "make-up" and all. She had a fit when I tried to clean her up so I just let her go like this.

Fall Colors

We drove up the Sundance Sunday afternoon to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. I love this time of year and welcome Fall officially tomorrow.

Sisters

These girls have been really cute together lately.

Help

A crayon went through the dryer cycle last night and this is what happened. A set of sheets and the girls covers for their chairs. I need help knowing what to do to get this wax out. I guess I could just get rid of the sheets and buy new chair covers, but want to try and get it out first. Also there is a little on the walls of the dryer and not sure how to get rid of that. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Utah State Fair

We had a fun night at the Utah State Fair. Tabitha and Gabrielle loved riding the ponies and petting the goats & sheep and seeing the cows and poor Tabitha was so excited about the turkey that her little finger was pecked at! Gabrielle rode quite a few big rides and did very well and loved them.

Good-bye Jeff

We had a fun last day with my brother Jeff. We are sure going to miss him and can't wait until he can come again.

Camping

All summer Brandon has been wanting to sleep out in the backyard with Gabrielle, but didn't get around to it until last night. We had fun setting up the tent and playing in it and Gabrielle slept great, but Brandon is glad that he had the whole afternoon to nap today. "Raise your hand if you want to sleep in the tent", sorry Tabitha your turn will be next summer.

BBQ

My Mom leaves tomorrow for Oregon and my brother heads back to Australia on Monday so we all got together tonight for a family BBQ. The girls always love the extra attention and always seem to put on a great show!

Speed Street

We met up with everyone at Speed Street, they all had a great time racing around the track, Cole being the fastest. Gabrielle and Tabitha got in on a little of the action as well and had fun racing each other!

Trampoline Fun

Tabitha does not like the tramp much, but loved playing with the hose!

Gabrielle had the best time yesterday jumping with my brother Jeff, we are enjoying our last few days with him!

*Gabrielle is now officialy potty-trained! We tried again after a 6 month hiatus and it has been a breeze.

**She is wearing Tabitha's 18month pants, she loves them and they work perfect for a capri!

New additions

So, here is the latest addition to our household! Brandon has spent several weeks building the coop with the girls help and everyone has been getting excited for their arrival. The girls seem to like them and we will warm Gus up to them slowly. They have yet to be named, but we have some good ideas.
