Happy Bird Day!!

We had fun today celebrating Gabrielle's birthday with a "bird" theme.  She was counting down the minutes until everyone arrived and her party began!  We sure do love you Gabrielle.

Happy 6th Birthday Gabrielle!

Gabrielle turned 6 today.  I cannot believe how fast time goes, I remember the day she was born and now she will be in 1st grade!  We woke up and went to breakfast at The Hub, her choice.  Friends came over to play and help with the cake, thanks Tara!!  The girls painted small bird houses, Gabrielle's will go on the cake for her party tomorrow.  She chose Stroganoff for dinner and then we ended the night with "chipwrecked", which I fell asleep and it kept skipping but the girls loved it anyway.  I hope she had a fun day and we are looking forward to celebrating tomorrow with family.  We sure do love you Gabrielle!

Monday

The girls enjoyed eating breakfast and playing outside every morning in my Grandpa's backyard and got quite a collection of roly poly's.  It was the coolest party of the day and about the only time you could sit outside.  We spent most of the day at the pool, the girls loved the slides especially Tabitha.  I made Gabrielle go down the big one with me before we left, she did not want to do but as soon as we landed in the water she yelled, "again".  We stayed another half hour to continue going down the slide.  We ended the night with Tuachan's performance of Aladdin.  My mom took the girls for their birthdays and they loved it!  They always do such amazing job and the setting is so beautiful.

We enjoyed a nice Sunday in St. George.  We went to the first half of my Grandpa's stake conference, my Grandpa was released as the stake family history center director and his wife Ramona gave a talk on family history.  We didn't get to hear much of her talk, they were having technical difficulties on the broadcast.  We relaxed back at Grandpas and said goodbye to all the family that were driving home today and then ended the night visiting the temple visitors center.  I love the St. George temple, the white is so pretty up against the red rock.

Sand Hollow

We got up super early this morning and headed to Sand Hollow with my Mom's Kayak and my Grandpas Canoe.  It was so pretty and cool and so many family joined us through the day.  The girls loved playing in the sand and water with all the cousins.

Engagement

We spent the evening at Antelope Island taking engagement photos of Kristen and Ryan.  I won't share any of the actual photos of them because I don't know which ones they will choose, but they are a cute couple and we had fun with them.  The girls enjoyed running around with Ryan's dog Koda and playing in the sand.   We are excited for their wedding in September.
