Temple Square

One of our cars needed some service so the girls and I spent most of Monday in Salt Lake. We visited a few of the ladies that I work with. The girls were excited to see where I work, Gabrielle was suprised that it did not look like the church. We walked around temple square, visted Kristen's work and had a fun lunch with her and then spent a few hours playing with a friend and her kids.

Bees

Friday night we enjoyed a night out at the bees baseball game. Because it was over the holiday weekend, pioneed day, there was a great firework show after the game. The girls did really well when they met the bee, they kept an eye on him the whole night and were not scared like in years past.

We went to Wasatch Mt. Stake Park and went on a short nature hike for FHE this past week.

I pretending...

Tabitha's new phrase. Most conversations between her and I go as follows, "Tabitha don't do that..", "Mom, I pretending", when really she is doing exactly what I don't want her to do. For example today while playing outside I said, "don't drink that dirty water", and as you can see that is all she was doing!

Hogle Zoo

My aunt Heather and two of her kids, Cassity and Clay have been with us all week from California and we sure have had fun. We also met up with my aunt Caroline and her daugther and kids for a few outings. This is the closest thing that we have to cousins and the girls were in heaven and said to see them leave this afternoon.

Bridal Veil Falls

We enjoyed a short hike and playing in the water saturday morning at Bridal Veil Falls. We love hiking and would love to do more, but are happy with the few we are able to schedule in during the summer.

Zoo

My cousin Melissa and her family were in town from Las Vegas so Friday we met them at the zoo. It is always fun to see each other even though it should be more often!

Back to reality

Brandon's family has been here since last monday and just pulled out this morning to drive back to Washington. We sure had fun while they were here shopping, eating, talking, swimming and playing, but now back to life and looking forward to their next visit.

4th of July

Our neighborhood had the kids decorate their bikes and parade around the block, the girls loved it! We then roasted marshmellows and made smores and watched the Midway fireworks from our yard.
