Valentines Dance

 I am in the Primary presidency at church and we were in charge of a ward activity for February.  We though it would be fun to have a dance.  We had the best time!  I was in charge of a photo book and we had a great DJ and another counselor did line dancing and gave prizes.  We plan on making this an annual activity.

Australia

My Mom flew to Australia this week and will be there for 6 weeks.  We all wished that we could join her especially since my nephew Tobi was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma at the first of the year and has been doing chemotherapy.

Leadership Day

 Our elementary school students learn about the 7 habits of happy kids, leader in me program.  Last month each student wrote an essay about their favorite habit.  Each teacher submitted 2-3 of those essays and then several students were selected to share them at an assembly.  Gabrielle was chosen to read her essay and did such a great job!  Tabitha's class recited a Shel Silverstein poem about the 8th habit, finding their voice.

Daddy's home!

When the garage door slams shut the girls and Winston go running and yelling "daddy's home".  We all love when Brandon gets home!

Ski weekend in Colorado

Brandon flew to Denver to spend the weekend with his friend Darin.  They enjoyed a fun day skiing.  It has been several years since either of us has skied, we would love to start going with the girls.

Uncle Scott

 

 

 

 Scott flew into Provo tonight and was here about 3 hours before he had to fly home.  We all met for dinner in Provo and loved seeing him.  Gabrielle was at a birthday party and was sad to miss him but Tabitha had a great time!

 We had so much fun celebrating Layni's 4th birthday today with Snow White!

Midway Ice Castles

 

 We finally made it to the Midway Ice Castles tonight.  They are pretty amazing.  The girls came a few years ago for a birthday party but this was mine and Brandon's first time.

Super Bowl Sunday

 We had fun watching the superbowl today and celebrating Gregg's birthday.  He grew up in Colorado and is a Bronco's fan so we were happy to cheer them on for him!  I also won a gift card with Quench it for guessing the final score, I was the closest.  Brandon helped with that guess so I will share the drinks with him.

Friends

Tabitha's best friend Kate was baptized today.  We sure are lucky to have the White's in our lives and that Tabitha and Kate are such great friends.

Living Legends

We had fun tonight at BYU's Living Legends performance.  I especially loved the Polynesian and New Zealand dancers but they were all so amazing.  The Native American hoop dancers were incredible!
