Temple Square

My Aunt Wendy flew to Salt Lake this morning from Las Vegas along with her granddaughter Kayleigh that just turned 12 and her Mom Lauren from North Carolina.  They came in for General Conference.  Wendy and Keith have been flying out their grandchildren for conference once they are 12.  We met them downtown, walking around temple square and then spending some time at the family history library.  They have recently reopened this library and it has some great interactive stations, we had a lot of fun.

Harry Potter

Gabrielle just finished reading the Harry Potter series!!  Friday we will watch the first movie for book 7.  I am so happy that she loves to read and that she has really loved this series.  It has been fun to watch the movies after she reads each book.

Weekend

 

 

 Kathryn, Kristen and Everest drove up for a girls weekend.  We celebrated St. Patricks day, Kristen did our nails and we played with Everest.  The girls participated in the piano festival and before dinner we went  over to the middle school to take a theory test.  Tabitha also sang with Reese while Libby Hansen played in the accompaniment category.  Today the girls played several songs in various categories and did great.  I am proud of them for doing something new.  Tonight Tabitha lost another tooth!!  Brandon is in Las Vegas golfing with a friend from work

Lego

Brandon and Gabrielle got up early this morning and headed to home depot for supplies to build a lego table.  I have wanted to get all the girls legos in one place.  They had fun getting starting on the painting today.

Goodbye

We love having Mimi and Papa Fife here and their visits are never long enough.  It is always so hard to say goodbye.  Tabitha was especially sad this afternoon at the airport.

Watch yo Mouth

 

 

 Diana bought a fun game that we have been seeing friends play, watch yo mouth!  It is hilarious.  While I was at my Math class tonight they all had fun and some good laughs playing the game.

Soane's

 With David and Diana in town we invited some friends of theirs from Washington, The Soane's, for dinner.  LeAnn was in Texas visiting their daughter who just had a baby.  We had fun with Peter, Ian and Mahala.  

Alice in Wonderland

 

Another great performance from Tabitha.  She had two today, matinee and evening.  We are so lucky to have such wonderful family support.  We had a yummy dinner before hand and Brandon brought out Nicodemus.  

Temple sealings

We spent the morning in the temple doing sealings.  We were able to seal Brandon's Grandpa and Diana's Dad to his parents.  It was really neat and Brandon found several other family names that we were able to seal to parents and children.

Rose

Tabitha auditioned and has been practicing in a local children's production of The Trials of Alice in Wonderland as Rose.  Tonight was her first performance and she did great!  She loves to perform and this was a great production for her.

Hannah

 

 

My Mom and I picked Hannah up this afternoon from the airport and took her to the MTC.  We had lunch at a yummy crepe place.  It was fun to drop her off, it was almost 20 years ago I was being dropped off.  We then went over to the BYU museum of art.  There was a great exhibit of Minerva Teicherts Book of Mormon Art.
