Christmas Tree

We attempted to cut down our own tree this year, but didn't have much luck. We will have stories to tell each year and maybe we might, just might, try again next year. We ended up getting one at home depot, not quite as tall as we would have liked but it sure smells good. I didn't take many photos of the kids decorating the tree but we had a fun night with that and decorating the house. The kids were so excited with each bin I opened and pulling everything out. I sure love this time of year! Gabrielle loves to stay in her dress after church and yes it is a summer dress and yes it is about 10 degrees outside but she seemed just fine.

Thanksgiving

Fashion Show

Enjoying a little Fashion Show and Dance Party while there is a blizzard going on outside.

More snow

We have had a few snow storms in the last days. It makes everything so pretty, but I had to work twice this weekend and the drive through Parley's canyon is not fun in a blizzard! The girls had fun playing out in it today while I shoveled and it was pretty cold. We are wondering if this will be the last time we see our grass until spring.

Pilgrims

Gabrielle ran in from pre-school today and said, "mom, look at my children's outfit"!

Give Thanks

My friend Pepper had this cute idea on her blog at the beginning of the month. We have enjoyed writing down things we are thankful for each night before going to bed.

Hunting for Dinosaurs with Gabrielle, they were all over the house and it was a good thing she had her headlamp on so we could see them in the dark rooms or under the bed.

Playing house while Gabrielle was at pre-school, this was her bed and she had me cover her up with her pillows for blankets.

Loves playing dress-up, which you would not know by the look on her face!

Tabitha is so much fun, she is busy non-stop all day long, she knows how to entertain us. She and Gabrielle play pretty good most of the time, but she sure knows how to push her buttons and is a huge tease like her Dad. She has to wear her snowflake pajama sleeve, aka snowflake sleeve, as her comfort. She is a silly silly girl that we are lucky to have around!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Tabitha was a great little helper when Kristen was making some yummy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Mix together:

1 C. Pumpkin

1/2 C. Shortening

1 egg

1 tsp. vanilla

1 1/2 C. Sugar

Mix together and then add to above ing.

2 1/2 C. Flour

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. nutmeg

1 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

1 small bag of chocolate chips

Mix all together and bake 11-13 minutes at 375 degrees.

Pockets

Tabitha gets so excited when she can wear anything with pockets. She will either just walk around with her hands in them or put various items she wants to store there. Either way she is so darn cute!
