Halloween Party

We got together at my Mom's house last night for our Halloween party and dressing up! We always have so much fun putting on costumes, I think the winner this year is Cole! We decorated cookies, played dress-up and ended the night with a treasure hunt, which Gabrielle loved!

My Mom sent me a bunch of old photographs and I thought this one was cute. It is my cousin Melissa, Me and my brother Jeff in Southern California at my Grandma and Grandpa Lucas's house in 1981. My friend Camille posts old photographs on her blog every friday, I think it is fun to look back on how we looked and what we did so many years ago.

Go Utes!

Brandon and Gabrielle had a great time today at the Utah vs. Air Force game, despite the cold and rain. They made it through the 3rd Quarter, the Utes won in overtime.

Daddy Daughter Date

I hosted book club at our house today so Brandon took the girls fishing. They had a great time and caught 4 fish, with both girls helping to reel them in!

Halloween Tutu's

Brandon's Mom made these cute Halloween tutu's for the girls and sent them along with the cute shirts and leggins. My friend Camille took some really darling photos of the girls this afternoon, they are all so cute. Thanks Camille and Diana!

Pizza

We love Pizza at our house so the other night I decided we would make our own. Gabrielle was a huge help and loved being able to roll out the dough and make several small pizzas, "decorate" hers, watch them cook and then eat them. We will be doing this more often, anything to make eating dinner more fun!

A family from my mission, the Moynihans, have been in town the past two weeks. They came up to our house with their family along with my first mission companion, Misty Rowley Newman, and her family. We had a fun night visiting and reminiscing from 12 years ago, wow time sure goes fast! I should try to post some pictures from back then.

FHE-Carmeled Apples

24 dates in 24 days

Brandon's cute cousin Allison, who is an MBA student at BYU, is doing a project where she goes on 24 first dates in 24 days, they have to be at least 24 minutes long and they can't spent more than 24 dollars. Her project "requires her to to do something to actively make a change in some organization or group of people within her sphere of influence". I think it is very clever and would be a lot of fun. Date number 19 is a friend of mines younger brother and Camille and I both agree that we wouldn't mind being related! You can follow her dates on her blog and also an article in the paper.

Trampoline

Gabrielle has been sleeping in the guest room and when I asked her about her bed she said that we couldn't take it down because it was her trampoline! She and Tabitha have had fun jumping on it but I sure would love for her to get back to sleeping in it. She did say that if we got her a really big bed she would sleep in her room, we will see.
