Olympics

We have loved watching the Olympics, I have recorded it and watch most of it fast forwarding through the parts I am not so interested in. I love all of the stories and am amazed how much work and dedication goes into be so good to attend the olympics. Gabrielle wants to be a ballerina when she grows up and has been really interested in the ice skating. The other night Gabrielle and Tabtiha were ice skating right along with the women as they performed. I remember the summer of 1984 practicing on my "balance beam" outside while wishing I was Mary Lou Retton! (do you remember that Kathryn and Melissa?!)

Here Doggy Doggy

Tabitha is insistent on wearing the sleeves of her pajamas everyday, some days she switches which "sleeve" several times. It proved to be a nice thing the other night when the girls were playing so well together as Tabitha was the Dog and Gabrielle was her nice owner taking her for a walk.

Names

My friend Camille was over today and brought with her some vinyl and her die cut machine. We put the girls names on their doors, which looks really cute. It is great for Gabrielle as we have been learning how to spell and recognize her name.

Binoculars

I have been saving toilet paper rolls for some time and this is all I can think of to do with them. Anyone have other ideas?

Good Things Utah

I went with my friend Camille yesterday to a taping of Good Things Utah. We had a good time and it was fun to see something taped live and we came away with a gift card to the featured food segment.

Ice Fishing

Looking for the fish, no such luck today maybe next time.

The "chicken and fish dance" that Brandon and Gabrielle made up the last time they went.

We decided to join Brandon for the last 1/2 hour of ice fishing this afternoon. This was Tabitha's first time fishing and Gabrielle was a pro and showed her the ropes.

Tute

This is how Tabitha has been saying "cute" lately. She is at such a fun age and her vocabulary has really exploded the last few weeks. I have been trying to write down all the words she is saying and how she is saying them, it is really "tute".

Emily

We sure had a fun visit with Emily. We were sad that she had to go back to Seattle and hope she comes back soon!

Deep Fried Twinkies

It is that time of year again and we have already been once this month!! Tabitha is so funny and makes the biggest cheesiest grin when you say "smile" for a picture.

Candy Necklaces

Brandon's sister Emily is here visiting from Seattle and she brought with her a lot of fun ideas for the girls. This afternoon they made candy necklaces, which the girls loved.
