Tide Pools

We woke up this morning and biked along the promenade.  Such a beautiful location!

We spent the day at Hug Point Beach State Park.  We were told that they had pretty good tide pools but we didn't see much.  I just thought there was low and high tide so planned a day around the low tide.  There are also various levels of low tide.  We had fun regardless, playing in the sand, water, and exploring caves and poking our fingers in lots of anemones.

Oregon

We left yesterday for our road trip and Fife family reunion in Seaside Oregon.  We had fun watching movies, playing games, listening to music and just driving.  We stayed the night in Pendleton Oregon.  We woke up this morning, the drive along the columbria River was gorgeous but super windy!  We stopped at Multnomah falls and then drove to Tillamook.  There was a lot of road construction through Portland and the road to Tillamook so we were so ready to get out of the car!  We had lunch and walked around the factory and ended with ice cream.  We made the drive along the coast to Seaside.  Once we unpacked our stuff into the condo we headed to the beach to play in the water and collect shells.  We are excited for this week.

Blood Lake

We had fun with Ali Terry and Rachel Cox and their kids exploring a new hike for us to blood lake.  It it at the top of guardsman's pass and a lot hotter then we thought but it is so good for the kids to get outside and enjoy nature.

Lost tooth

Gabrielle lost another tooth today while eating a peach!  She holds on to those teeth for as long as possible.  She does not like us pulling them out!

Charleston 5K

Camille and I ran the Charleston 5K this morning.  This was our third time doing it and I love this tradition, She pushes me to keep going.   I came in first in my age category!!  There were not that many over 40 but I was happy and proud of myself!
