Everest

Everest Ryan Wilson arrived yesterday morning a little before 11.  We met him via face-time once the girls got home from school, they were so excited!!  I drove to Ogden tonight on my way to work to hold him for a bit.  He is so adorable and precious.  I am so happy for Kristen and Ryan.

I really wanted Tabitha to learn a 2-wheeler and for Gabrielle to get more comfortable riding the bike she got for her birthday almost 2 years ago!  Sunday we got the small 2-wheeler we had in the garage and tried for a while with Tabitha, she just wasn't getting it.  We borrowed our neighbors bike that was just a little bit bigger and I made her try for a while up and down in front of our house.  She did pretty good but wouldn't pedal for long and then fall over.  We borrowed the bike on Monday and she did a little better and again on Tuesday and she finally got it!!  We went to Walmart and found one she liked and got her an early birthday present.  By tonight Tabitha and Gabrielle both were riding like pros!  I am excited to take family bike rides together now, I just need to get myself a helmet.

Sunday

We celebrated with Brandon today for his birthday.  He and I went to dinner on Friday night after we picked him up at the airport.  The girls had a fun night with Aunt Emily.

Lost tooth #2

 

I put Tabitha to bed last night and about a half hour later she came out and her tooth was bleeding.  She had a pretty loose tooth that I eventually pulled out.  It continued to bleed, I called my sister in law that works at an orthodontics office to advice.  We got it to stop bleeding and after face timing Brandon in Las Vegas she went to bed again, this time very late.  She was super excited to have lost her second tooth.  We had a dental appt this morning and everything looks good.

Happy Birthday Brandon

 

Brandon was invited to an event at the Las Vegas motor speedway, Richard Petty driving experience.  He travels down there for work every month and it happened to be when he would be down there.  It also happened to be on his birthday!  He raced 8 laps around and got up as high as 138 mph.   We sure do love your Brandon, we are excited to celebrate with him this weekend.

Temple Square

 

 

 

 

To end our Spring Break we spend the afternoon in Salt Lake walking around and enjoying the beautiful gardens on temple square.  We had dinner and walked around City Creek.  Tabitha used her own money to buy this palace pet cat at the Disney store.  We rode trax to the gateway and saw the movie Home.  We ended the night swimming at the hotel.  It has been a fun week.

Ogden's Union Station

I worked last night, so the girls and I drove to Ogden and they played with my Mom while I worked.  They scrap booked, sewed, played and watched movies.  This morning we went to Union Station downtown.  It was fun to walk around the trains and learn about the history behind Ogden and the railroad.   My Great Grandpa Lucas worked for the railroad in Salt Lake and my Great Grandpa Gibson also worked for the railroad in California.  They also had a museum with old cars, rodeo history and browning guns.  Another fun day during our spring break.  

Jump on it

We are not going anywhere for spring break, so we planned a few fun things close to home.  We took our friend Kate with us to Jump on it today, Laura and Caroline met us later.  The girls had so much fun jumping and swinging.  We enjoyed some yogurt afterwards.

Easter Sunday

I love our Conference Sunday tradition of crepes.  We had them later today when My Mom, Kathryn, Layni, Kristen and Ryan joined us for lunch.

The girls loved the Easter egg hunt. 

It was a super windy afternoon so after the last session of General Conference we headed over to the school field around the corner.  We all had fun flying the kite making sure to hold on tight.
