Canning

Mom came up and helped me can this afternoon.  We did 13 bottles of peaches and 11 pints of jam.

Peach picking

 

 

 

I have been wanting to go fruit picking for several years now.  I finally had my act together and made it work this afternoon after school to pick peaches.  Ali and her kids joined us and we drove down to Payson.  We had a lot of fun and even picked an extra box.  I hope to can them and make some jam later this week.

First day of School

   

 

   

 

 The girls are so excited for 3rd and 5th grades.  Gabrielle starts at a new school where there is just 5th and 6th grades.

Back to School breakfast

 

 

I love any excuse to have friends over and eat.  Tabitha is following in my footsteps and wanted to have a back to school breakfast with friends.  She made a cute sign and we set the table up real cute and fancy.  We did pancakes with lots of toppings and juice.  It was fun.  Tabitha also had her back to school outfit all laid out and ready right down to her backpack!  The girls are both really excited for school to start tomorrow.

Sunday

 Tabitha and Brandon have been singing in the church choir.  They practice every Sunday an hour before church.  The director loves having Tabitha sing with them!

 

 

We had our Back to School dinner tonight and the girls wanted to roast hot dogs.  We haven't done that yet this summer in the back yard so it was a fun choice.

7-peaks

 

We wanted to get to 7 peaks one more time this summer and this was our last weekend before school starts next week.   We had fun riding all the rides we love!

Happy Birthday Ali

 

 

 My great friend Ali turned 40 on the 11th.  She planned her own dinner party with friends at the Melting Pot in Salt Lake.  It was fun to be with friends and meet new friends that love Ali as much as we do.  It was also nice to have a great date night out with Brandon.  The experience was super fun.  We picked the kids up McDonald's on our way to Salt Lake and they spent the evening with Emily.

Hike

 

 

 

 We had a great group at our hike this morning.  We attempted Wasatch Mt. State Park again and had fun.  It was pretty hot and not very much of the hike in the shade but it has been so much fun to get out and enjoy nature.  The reward was very large ice cream cones!

Friends

I feel truly blessed almost every day that I have great friends and my kids are making great friends.  We were missing a few kids tonight due to other activities, Gabrielle was at a birthday party but came a little later.  We had a fun BBQ at the Simon's in their fun backyard.  

Emily

 We love helping Emily in her classroom each year as she gets ready for school to start.  She always has a list of things for us to do.  The girls are great helpers and have so much fun!  We just wish she taught in our district!

Hair cut

 Gabrielle wanted a new short hair do for school to start next week.  She looks so cute and grown up!

Fife Cousins

 

 

Brandon's cousin Britney organized a dinner tonight with family.  It was fun to get together with so many cousins and catch up on everyone.  We were missing a few but it is always fun to get together.  The kids all played great together and Britney has a wonderful yard and home.

Deer Creek

 

 

 

 

We had a fun night tonight spending time with our friends the Whites at Deer Creek.  The water was cold but everyone enjoyed playing in the water and spending time together.  The Whites have a wave runner, everyone had so much fun.  Tabitha kept wanting it to go faster and could have stayed out there all night!
