Sunday with Scott

We never see Scott and miss him and Kristen since they moved to San Diego at the first of the year.  He had the opportunity to pick up a flight with a 42 hour layover in Salt Lake.  He spent yesterday in Ogden and my Mom and Kristen brought him to Heber today.  We had a yummy dinner of ribs and had fun playing around with Scott.  We love you Uncle Scott!!

Camping

We were very excited to get our new trailer out for a night.  We had planned last night all week and as it got closer the weather did not look so good.  Brandon called me from work yesterday afternoon and said we are going no matter the weather!  Tabitha had been invited to a swimming party at the Kamas pool so Gabrielle and I joined her.  Emily and Brandon set up camp in the rain and then we joined them.  We had a fun night playing games, listening to music and telling stories.  It rained most of the night but we were warm and dry.  We are looking forward to getting out more.

Happy Easter

It was a beautiful day today!!  We are so grateful for our Savior and the Atonement and Resurrection.

Family Easter

We had a fun afternoon with my family celebrating Easter.  We BBQ hamburgers and had fun laying around by the pool, but not getting in.  We are excited to use it a lot this summer.  The girls had fun finding way to many Easter eggs.

We celebrated Brandon's birthday today with a yummy crab dinner and presents.  He had been so excited about getting this electric racetrack, he pick it out.  The girls had fun with him racing the cars and hoping they wouldn't fall off the track from going to fast.  Brandon turns 40 on Tuesday,we are going out to dinner and then to see Les Miserable at the Hale Theater in Salt Lake

Birthday dinner

Yesterday we did some shopping in Orem and then attended the sacred gifts exhibit at the BYU museum of art.  It was really amazing and I am glad we got to attend.  We then watched the new Muppets movie, the girls have loved watching the most recent one and a few of the older ones from our childhood.  Today we shopped around for tent trailers in the morning and then met up with everyone at the new aquarium.  It was a complete zoo but with our passes we get to come back so we are planning some time this summer.  We had a birthday dinner for Brandon at Texas Roadhouse and then said goodbye to Vanessa who flies out in the morning.  We had a fun filled week, we love spring break and visitors!!

Kamas Pool

David and Diana flew in yesterday, we had a fun night together.  We spent this morning shopping around town while David fished and then I headed to work.  They all met Brandon at the Kamas Pool after work and had a fun night swimming.   Thank you Vanessa for the swimming photos!

Jazz Game

Brandon was given tickets to the Jazz game tonight in the Bank of America suite.  They had dinner, drinks, dessert and great seats.  We left after the third quarter, the Jazz were beyond by about 20 points the whole game.   Vanessa watched the girls and and it was a fun date night.  (photos taken with our phones)

Tracy Aviary

 

 

We were planning to go to the Aquarium today but Tabitha was sick in the night again, so Vanessa and Emily took Gabrielle to the Tracy Aviary.  They had a fun day.  I spent the day cleaning the house again hoping to kill all germs hoping no one else gets sick.  Tabitha rested in my bed all day.  The flu this time around that Brandon, myself and now Tabitha have gotten was pretty bad, lasting days.

Vanessa

The girls spring break started today and we picked Vanessa up at the airport this afternoon.  The girls have been so excited for weeks, especially Tabitha.  We stopped by Emily's school after picking up Vanessa, the girls love visiting her classroom.  We have a lot of fun things planned this week!

Conference Sunday

We like to refer to this day as "crepefrence", Brandon made us all a yummy breakfast.  Tabitha was up in the night sick so she spent most of the day in our bed.  After working a grave and watching conference and spending the day in our jammies I was pretty tired so our photo today is just of Gabrielle.  I had a few activities or treats with pictures of the first presidency and quorum of the twelve and as they spoke the girls got to do whatever their picture was attached to.  I checked a book out of the library about making paper airplanes and attached it to President Uchdorf's photos, Gabrielle had fun with this one.  I love General Conference weekend!
