Fall Colors

I love this time of year, especially the colors. I brought my camera on our drive to Park City on tuesday and tried to capture some of the beauty.

Daddy, you forgot something....

Tabitha says this every morning to Brandon as he is walking out the door and then she runs over and gives him a hug and a kiss. She will sometimes do it several times, it is so cute.

Gabrielle carried around her "juice box" she made on sunday. She shared with me and it tasted pretty good!

My mom gave us all tickets last year for our birthdays to Mary Poppins. It was a fun musical performance, especially the songs that were familiar. My friend Camille bought an extra ticket and joined us after she ran a race! We went out to The Pie afterwards for dinner where Emily and the girls met up with us. They had a fun afternoon at the disneystore and playing with Emily, thanks!!

Happy Birthday

We celebrated my birthday on Friday. Brandon and the girls made this cute flower cake out of cupcakes. We had dinner once Brandon got home from work and ate cupcakes and opened presents. We then drove down to Orem and saw Lion King in 3D, we were the only ones in the theater. It was a fun day, I am so greatful for my little family and sure enjoyed just being together.

Asters

These flowers bloom every fall in our front yard. They are so pretty and with 6 plants they are very colorful but they do attract a lot of honey bees. I found the link above and they are also called September birth flowers, which is funny becuase this photo is taken from my birthday, thursday the 22nd.

I had this picture printed up and hanging on our front door for our party last weekend. It is Brandon going to his last BYU game, he has a funny story to accompany the photo.

Dancing with the stars

The girls have been very excited to watch dancing with the stars again. We recorded it monday night and watched it tuesday. Their favorite is still "the girl with the red hair", Anna.

Quiet Time

Tabitha is pretty much done with naps. The last few weeks of summer she would much rather have played with Gabrielle. Now that Gabrielle is in school I try to put her down for a quiet time and it has turned into a movie on my bed. If I know she is super tired or we ar going to be out late I will have her nap. Some days I join her for a snuggle or rest but I try to get stuff done during this time.

Big Game

All dressed up in our Utah red as we head out the door to do some shopping in Orem. The final score from the game, BYU 10 and Utah 54. Brandon and his friend Chip have a bet that which ever team looses the other person has to fly the winning school flag for a week, the stakes were changed this year to be the difference in the score, 44 days! Sorry guys, I have noticed that your house lights have not been kept on at night, we need to get spot light out there!

Friday night we had a BYU vs. Utah party with some friends.

Stitches and Nails

Tabitha was running and jumping on the swing on her belly and we think her center of gravity was off and she fell in the dirt right on her chin and her teeth bit down on her skin just under her bottom lip. We took her to the urgent care wed night and she got four stitches just under her lip. It was pretty tramatic for all of us, she was proud of how brave she was after the fact. Her chin is pretty banged up and very bruised and her lip was cut and pretty swollen. While I was at work thursday night Brandon got the girls some fake nails to play around with, they loved them!

tickle tickle. Brandon taught Tabitha this one morning and she loved it and kept wanting to do it over and over again!

Pre-school

Tuesday was my first day hosting pre-school. I was a little nervous with 7 kids and Gabrielle, but they all did great and Gabrielle was a huge help. My only problem is that I have a set of twins and I cannot tell them apart!

Cucumbers

Brandon has tried growing cucumbers several times in our garden and this year they have been perfect. The girls, especially Gabrielle, love eating them dipped in ranch dressing.

Garage Sale

We had our first garage sale saturday. I could have never done it without Emily's help, thank you!! Emily helped the girls with a table to sell lemonade and cookies and they came away with $22. They had a great time and are excited to go to the disney store to buy something fun with their money.

The letter T

Tabitha has been able to recognize the letter T for about a year now, she always says, "that's my name". She only recently can write the letter T and is so proud of herself.

Truman

We played with our friend Truman on Thursday.

Hiss

We love this game of "hiss", it is really fun to see what snake combinations you get.

First Day

Both girls were so excited to start school on tuesday. We are doing a pre-school co-op with Tabitha and a few friends, she asks everyday if she can go! Gabrielle loved Kindergarten and is especially happy that her friend Drew is in her class.

Cole blew the horn on his boat to scare the kids, but they really didn't flinch.

Labor Day we met my family at Willard Bay and enjoyed a day of playing in the sand and water. Brandon's friend Steve and his family joined us and the girls could have stayed there all day building sand castles. Kathryn has a kayak and we decide to get one for my Mom for her birthday and Christmas, they were sure fun to paddle around in. We also celebrated mine and Kathryn's b-day's because my Mom will be out of town for work for the next 3 weeks for work. We went back to my Mom's house to get the girls bathed and ready for bed and they had fun playing on the teeter totter my Mom just bought.
