Sunday

I got stung by a bee yesterday walking into the theater.  Today is swelled up and was really red and itchy.  I came right home from church and went to bed,  I had been fasting so I could take anything and it was really hurting.  Brandon smoked Ribs and we had our friends the Terry's over for dinner.

Girls weekend.

My Mom gave the girls tickets to Tarzan at the Hale theater for their birthdays.  We drove up to her house yesterday to have a girls sleepover and we also celebrated mine and Kathryn's birthdays.   The weather turned cold so we had to spend the weekend inside but we had fun painting nails, decorating cookies and dressing up.  Today we drove down to Salt Lake and went to Tarzan, we loved it.  At intermission Tabitha had a worried look on her face and said, "we are coming back right?"  They were totally into it and the music, costumes and characters were great.  We stayed around to take our picture with a few of the cast, Tabitha loved Terk, Tarzan's friend.

Happy Birthday to me!

I loved having my birthday on a  Sunday, it felt like Mother's day, thanks to Brandon  and the girls.  Scott and Kristoni came up to celebrate with us.  I am sure grateful for family and friends who made me feel special today.    I turned 38 but this morning before church I said to Brandon I was 39!  Not that I want to get older, I just forgot, which is probably a sign of getting older. I love everyone's faces in the last picture, they were singing to me right as I was getting ready to blow out the candles.

Sunday reading

We took this picture right before putting the girls to bed.  We have been reading chapter books and the scriptures with them at night, they take turns choosing a book.

Popsicle Sunday

Eating a popsicle for dessert, probably the last time this year.  The fall weather has arrived and the mornings and evenings are turning cool.

Utah State Fair

 

 

 

We went to the University of Utah vs Weber State game this afternoon.  We left at half time and the Utes were up 49-0, the end score was 70-7.  We went to Emily's to rest and then went to dinner and the Utah State Fair.  Tabitha had no fear when it came to this big boat ride, like the Tidal Wave at Lagoon.  At one point we saw Brandon put his hand to her mouth, but we later found out that she was unsure what she was feeling as her stomach was feeling weird when they went up.  She came hopping off with a huge smile on her face ready to go again!  Gabrielle and I had fun watching, my stomach gets sick just looking at the ride.

 Cousins

We got together at my Mom's today after church to say goodbye to Jeff, Neika and Tobi.  They fly back to Australia tomorrow and I already miss them.  We had a fun filled 6 weeks with them and made a lot of fun memories.  Gabrielle said after they had been here a few weeks that she wanted to go to Australia, I told her so do I and maybe we could plan for a trip in 5 years, let's hope!!
