After Everest's Birthday party last night we headed to Salt Lake to a Grizzles Hockey game.  Brandon, Emily and the girls went while I was in So. Cal at the beginning of the month and had the best time.  We didn't have quite as good of seats, front row, but had a fun night.  We stayed at the downtown Marriott, I went to work at 11 and then slept this morning while Brandon took the girls swimming.  We then walked around temple square, the flowers are absolutely gorgeous.  We then got lunch and headed home.

Everest 1st Birthday

 Everest turns 1 tomorrow!  We had so much fun celebrating with him and family tonight at his camping themed party.  He is so cute, we love anytime that we can see him.  

Field Trip

I went on a field trip to the zoo today with Tabitha and her 2nd grade class.  I love being able to go on field trips with the girls.  It was a pretty windy day but we had fun, it was my first time seeing the new Savanna exhibit.   My friend Laura drove down with her 5 year old and joined our group with Kate.  It was nice to have an extra set of eyes to keep track of the 3 others girls in my group.

Happy Birthday Brandon

We celebrated Brandon's birthday today with a Star Wars themed party.  We sure love Brandon and are lucky to have him as a dad and husband.  He loves all of his girls.

Hannah Temple

 Heather, Russ and Lucas drove up yesterday to take Lucas up to Idaho to attend BYU-I.  I met them at the temple tonight to do a session with them and Hannah who was going through for the first time.  She is leaving on her mission to Paris France the first week of August.  It was such a great night and my first time doing a session in the new Provo City Center Temple.  

Today we hiked to Landscape arch and had a little rain once we got to the arch.  We were going to go a little further along the trail to see other arches but the rocks were wet and we didn't want to slip.  We drove over to the Windows Arches and hiked up and ate our lunch.  Funny thing, last time we were here Tabitha had to go to the bathroom once we got tot he top so I hiked down with her, she did the same thing today!!  We have talked about going to the bathroom when we see one but she never has to go then!!  We live in such a beautiful state, we are lucky to we get to enjoy so much of it.

Delicate Arch

 

We enjoyed the beautiful hike to Delicate arch today.  It truly is an amazing arch that you don't see the whole hike, you just round the corner and there it is!  We packed our lunch and at the top and enjoyed the wonderful view of the arch and surroundings.

Moab

 

 We packed up and headed to Moab today.  We are excited to enjoy camping down here and hiking in Arches for the rest of our spring break.  We set up camp and then headed to a hike along a river.  We didn't realize we would be crossing that river 3 different times to get to the waterfall at the end.  Poor Emily only had tennis shoes and had to do part of it in bare feet!

New Glasses and Lost teeth

Gabrielle got her new glasses today.  They are adorable and she looks so cute!  She is super excited about them.  Tabitha also lost another tooth.  I couldn't get her to open her mouth wide enough to see the space on the bottom but I sure do love her smile.  I love these girls!!

Hang time

We started spring break this week and met up with Laura and her kids at Hang time in Orem.  I didn't think to get a photo of the whole group but snapped this just before we left so we could remember.  The girls had a fun time and we didn't get any black eyes!

Ragnar Day #2

  Once our van finished we went back to Scott's and showered and went to cheer on van #2.  Lindsey was our last runner, it was fun to cheer her on and all run into the finish line together.

 

 

  We did it!  I am so glad that I have such amazing siblings and that for the first time we were able to all run together in the same van.  We haven't signed up for another one yet but I hope to be able to keep running.  I have enjoyed this journey with family and the relationships and memories that were made.
