Matching

Gabrielle is really into "matching" and loves when she and Tabitha wear the same clothes, or same color or anything similar. She hates anything in her hair, so I need to find "matching" bows so she will be excited about it. She wants her food to match ours, eat the same color of popsicle, she loves that she has the same color of eyes as Tabitha and Brandon and so much more. I was cleaning out clothes in Tabitha's closet the other day and Gabrielle insisted on wearing the same socks as Tabitha, the same size and everything. It was pretty funny and she has done so for the past few days. She is a great big sister and fun daughter to have around.

Tomatoes

I love eating garden grown tomatoes, especially on a sandwich. Brandon doesn't like tomatoes, but loves the gardening part. We have a great garden this year which we are looking forward to eating all the great stuff that he has been babying on summer long. This is one cherry tomatoe plant that is huge and full of tomatoes. We have already been able to enjoy a few ripe ones and I had a sandwich yesterday for lunch, it was delicious!

Gardner Village

Tabitha and I drove down to Salt Lake on Saturday to meet my Mom, two sisters, Aunt and cousin at Gardner Village. My cousin is having a baby girl in the next week or so and we got together for lunch and shopping. I love all the cute shops there, we had a great time despite the heat.

Harry Potter

Brandon has been reading the Harry Potter books and Gabrielle loves to sit and have him read to her. He has seen all the movies with me, but has never read the books.

Potato Bugs

This is Gabrielle's first experience holding a potato bug. She thought it was "slimy", but had fun watching it crawl over her hand.

Twin Pops

Gabrielle and I like to sit on the porch after dinner and eat popsicles. I love the bag with the rootbeer, bannana and cherry. The weather has been so pleasant in the evenings, it is so nice and relaxing.

Pioneer Day

We had a great day of watching the parade, playing, swimming, running through the sprinkler, neighborhood BBQ and fireworks and then a night sleeping under the stars. I just left them outside, so we will see how long they last!

Cuties

I was just going through all the hundreds of photos that my sister in law put on our computer from when they were here and came across this cute one of the girls. They are definitely sisters.

First Swim

We went swimming yesterday and had a great time. Gabrielle just loves the water and would have stayed out there all day. We put Tabitha in for the first time. She was so cute and just loved the water and was so relaxed. I forgot my camera but took a few of her when we got home. She was trying out grass for the first time and was so funny to watch. She didn't like it and tried to lift her feet when standing on it and then when Brandon layed her down she was arching her back and trying everything to get off! I love the picture of her laying down because her tongue is out and that is what she is always doing, but so hard to capture on camera.

2 months

Tabitha turned two months yesterday, which is hard to believe how fast time has gone. We had her checkup and she weighs 11lbs and 9 oz. and is 22 inches long. She didn't like her shots, but other than that she is doing great. She has really been smiling a lot lately and really alert and cute.

Week of Fun

Brandon's family was in town last week from Seattle. We had a good time with them celebrating Gabrielle's birthday and Tabithas blessing, swimming, fishing, shopping, guitar her, croquet and just hanging out. Gabrielle is quite the entertainer!

Fireworks

Gabrielle was lucky enough to stay up late last night. We had a great time setting off a few of our own and then watching Midways show from our lawn. Gabrielle loved the "poppers" the best.
