Bubble butt

This morning in the tub Tabitha and Gabrielle were giggling when I asked what they were laughing at Tabitha  asked me to take a picture of her bubble butt and they continued to laugh.  

Sunday

Brandon had stake bishopric meeting at 6 and was home by 7:30 so he made us breakfast and was there to help us out the door!

Flu

Whenever the flu bug is around it always seems to hit Tabitha.  She was up all night and spent today resting in our bedroom watching a lot of TV and movies.  We are crossing our fingers that no one else in the house gets sick.

Chickens

The girls alternate chores each week, so Tabitha has been in charge of collecting eggs.  She has always been good at catching the chickens so everyday we have gone out she snatches one up and walks around.  She is always so proud of herself.

Sunday

We had a great day today with naps after church and homemade ice cream and visiting with friends!

Megan

My older sister Jennifer passed away in her sleep this past Friday.  It was not expected and we had a family trip planned for Bear Lake, so we all headed down to St. George instead.  Her funeral was today and it was nice to reflect on happy fun times with Jennifer.  My older brother Jeff lives in Australia, he emailed some thought and stories about Jennifer that Kathryn, Kristen and I read.  She has a 17 year old Daughter Megan who is very strong and said some nice things as well.  We had quite a bit of family that drove several hours to attend, we sure are lucky and grateful for such a wonderful family!!

Sunday picnic

We took a picnic dinner to the park tonight and then played around on the playground.

  

We took some more engagement photos tonight of Kristen and Ryan.  Thanks to my friend Tara for all her help at the first location in her parents backyard.  Gabrielle and Tabitha had a great time running around with theirs friends Presley and Stella collecting rocks.  We then went to Huber grove where the girls loved to "help".  Kristen had some picture ideas in a notebook and they girls would pick out their favorites and insist that we do them right now!  Thanks Mom for entertaining the girls, they had fun running around and reading all the plaques with history of the grove and surrounding area.  Again, I am not going to post pictures of Kristen and Ryan until they decide which ones they will use for their invites.  It turned out to be a gorgeous night after a short rain storm.

4th of July

We enjoyed a fun filled 4th of July.  We started the morning with our ward breakfast and then headed to Park City to participate in the parade with Brandon's work.  The girls were sure excited to be in the parade and did a great job waving their flags and hands and smiling at everyone.  We had lunch at the park and then went to the move Brave.  It was cute, but not my favorite and I felt it had some scary parts for little kids.  We drove home BBQ'd hamburgers for dinner and tried this fun 3 color drink.  We built a fire in the backyard and make smores, set off a few fireworks and sparklers and then ended the night watching the Midway fireworks from our yard.  We are grateful to live in America and for those that protect our freedoms.

Snowcones

We biked to get snow cones tonight.  Thanks to Chip for letting Brandon use his bike and that meant I did not have to pull the girls!

Bridal Veil Falls

Sunday evening we drove down Provo Canyon to Bridal Veil Falls.  We walked the trail to the base of the waterfall and enjoyed playing in the water and collecting rocks. It was a beautiful evening and we were able to cross one more thing off our summer fun list.
