Bike ride

FHE bike ride tonight.  I don't have a helmet but Brandon was working late so I wear his when it is just me and the girls.

Swim

 My Aunt Leslie was in town visiting my Mom.  We drove up to visit with her and swim.  Tabitha is pretty daring in the pool and loved being thrown in by Brandon.

First day of school

 

 

The girls were super excited this morning for their first day of 2nd  and 4th grades.  They both have teachers they are really looking forward to.  Gabrielle went a little early to have lunch with her 3rd grade teacher and a few other students that accepted the challenge to read 1000 minutes this summer.  She loves to read and I love that she enjoys it so much.

Happy Anniversary

Brandon and I are celebrating 13 years of marriage today!  I sure do love this guy and am grateful that we found each other 15 years ago.  We are celebrating this weekend with dinner in Salt Lake.

Camping

 We finally got out camping once last time with our friends the Whites.  The summer is also so busy trying to coordinate schedules so we were happy to get it in before school starts.  I don't normally sleep that well camping but Tabitha ended up in bed with Brandon and I in the middle of the night and it was pretty snug.   We had fun sitting by the fire, playing games and being together.

Swimming with friends

 

We wanted to get one last swim in before school starts next week.  We brought our friend Kate with us to my Mom's for the afternoon.  The girls had a great time, unfortunately the one and only time that we have done a train down the slide it didn't end well.  Tabitha ended up landing on Gabrielle in the water, we won't be doing that again!

Lost tooth

Gabrielle lost her 11th tooth today!  She is getting much better with each tooth that comes out, no passing out, so that is a great sign!

Camping

 I love our annual camping trip to the Uintas, this year we were at Trial Lake.  The girls got right to work exploring our campground and spent the next two days playing together and creating a fun play space decorated with flowers and different rooms among the trees.  We had fun telling stories around the campfire, perfecting our dutch oven cooking, fishing and being together.

Emily's classroom

 The girls and I love to help in Emily's classroom as she gets ready for another school year.  She always has a list of things to do and the girls love it!!

Stewart Falls

 We hiked Stewart Falls this morning.  It has been on my summer list every year and we finally did it.  It had rained recently so it wasn't as dusty as I had heard and it was a pretty hike.  The girls had a hard time on our way back but we made it!  Brandon and Tabitha ventured up closer to the falls, Gabrielle and I stayed back where it was safer!
