Happy Birthday Gabrielle!!

I can't believe that she is 3!! We are going to the zoo this afternoon and then celebrating on Saturday. We sure are grateful for this girl!

Fishing

Brandon and his Dad went to Strawberry yesterday and caught a 2 1/2 pound Kokanee, and plenty of rainbow and cutthroat trout. We ate the Kokonee today for dinner and it was delicious and I am not a big fan of fish. Brandon claims that his mustache is taking his fishing skills to the next level!

Swimming

Warm summer weather is finally here! We had a fun time swimming this afternoon with Camille and baby Truman.

Tyler

Gabrielle and Tyler have been friends since she was about 6 months old. They always have great fun when we get together to play.

More Sewing

Camille and I shrunk down the pattern to the bag we made last week and made one for Gabrielle and her nieces! We used our left over fabric and it turned out so cute, Gabrielle was excited to have a matching bag for church and did a great job posing for Camille.

Friends

My friend Laura took this cute picture of her girl Kate and Tabitha, they are great little friends. We enjoy walking with them every morning, playing in their fun yard and just hanging out, we are sure going to miss them while they are in Texas.

Alpine Slide

We picked Brandon up from work tonight and headed over to the Alpine Slide. Brandon and I each took a turn going down with Gabrielle. She loved it and kept saying, "this is so much fun!" Tabitha just enjoyed playing in the rocks.

Happy Fathers Day

These girls sure love their dad, as do I. We have the best Dad in the world, we love you!!!

Fishing

Brandon and Steve got their fathers day gift early today, they went fishing and were catching them left and right. They had a great time and we know when they try to do it again they won't be biting as good so I am glad that they had a fun successful day today. The photos were taken by Steve's camera phone, I am not sure why I didn't get out there with the camera.

Sewing

My friend Camille puts together a girls night every month and this month they made these cute bags. I usually have to work the night they get together so she came over and helped me with mine yesterday. Brandon got me a really nice sewing machine a few years ago for Christmas, but I hardly use it and mostly for straight stitches. This is very elaborate sewing and would not have been able to finish it without Camille holding my hand the whole time. I am very proud of myself for making it and am excited to put the bag to good use. Thanks Camille!!

Bees

We drove down to Salt Lake last night for a Bees Baseball game. We had the perfect weather, not a cloud in the sky and had a great time being out together. Tabitha loved dancing, eating and is very social. Gabrielle, again was not to fond of the Bee, she wouldn't even get close enough for a picture but kept her eye on him the whole night. I have our whole summer planned out with various activities we want to do, so we can cross this off of our list!

Air Show

There was an air show at Hill Air Force Base this weekend. We went over on Sunday afternoon and had a great time. It rained on us for a few minutes pretty hard, but then the sun came out. We enjoyed the Thunderbird show, which was really amazing.

Dinosaur Park

The girls and I spent the weekend in Ogden while Brandon was in Colorado for a wedding. We had a birthday party for Nyman on Saturday and then spent the evening at the Dinosaur Park. Gabrielle was a little scared of the dinosaurs at first but warmed up and had fun. The weather was perfect and we had a nice evening together.

Hike

We went on a hike last night for FHE. Gabrielle did great and walked a lot of the way stopping and looking at the flowers and any bugs that were crawling on the trail. Tabitha loved being carried and just sat back there talking the whole way. The weather was perfect and the scenery was beautiful. We hope to be able to do more this summer.

Weekend fun

We set up the water table for the kids in the backyard. They had fun splashing around and it was cute to see them play together. We had a pretty nice weekend weather wise with some rain and thunderstorms in the late afternoon.

Brandon and I love the artichokes at Cheesecake Factory. We are always trying to figure out exactly how they do it, I think this weekend Brandon figured it out. He marinated them while we were at church and then put them on the grill, they were delicious. Now we just need to figure out the dipping sauce.
