Halloween

 

 

The girls were both excited about Trick or Treating but Tabitha could hardly get through dinner!  We had great weather and have the perfect size neighborhood.  It is fun to see everyone out and then come home to hand out candy.

Circuit

Gabrielle has been learning about circuits and how they work at school these past few weeks.  Her class was to create a haunted house to show that they knew how to use the circuit by lighting up their house.  Brandon and Gabrielle created this house and she shared it today with the school.

Sugar Cookies

 I love our tradition of decorating sugar cookies.  I use the same recipe and toppings that we used growing up.

Family Halloween

 

   

 

 

 

 

 We always have fun getting together with my family for our Halloween party.  The girls were excited for their costumes this year, Tabitha is a weather witch and Gabrielle is Hermoine.  Brandon and I sometimes have thought out costumes but this year we just found something out of my Mom's many boxes of costumes.  My Mom planned a fun scavenger hunt for the kids.

Shooting

 

 

 

 

 As we were getting back from Sundance Brandon called and wanted to take us out shooting.  He has his Grandpa's .22 and has never taken us out before.  We stopped and got bullets and then headed up towards Strawberry.  We pulled off and then walked up a trail and set up some targets, 2 liters filled with water.  We had a lot of fun, the girls did great.

Sundance

 

We joined the Terry's again today for another fall break day at Sundance.  They had a few games set up on the lawn we played and then just walked around.  We ended with a sucker from the gift shop.

Bean Musuem

 

We didn't have plans to go anywhere for Fall Break so we met up with Ali and kids at the Bean Museum in Provo.  Hannah walked over from school and walked around with us.  They have a fun scavenger hunt paper to fill out.  After the museum we drove to Rockwell ice cream for a yummy cone.  We dropped Hannah off at her class and then played around at the park.  The weather was perfect.

Everest

 

I got to watch Everest again today, he is so much fun.  We ran an errand to the bank and he loved his sucker!

Cornbelly's

 

 

 Brandon and I did a session at the Mt. Timponogos temple and then we met Emily and the girls at Cornbelly's.  The corn maze wasn't the best, the corn had not grown super tall and you could see right through it but we had fun on the scavenger hunt.

Aunt Emily's

The girls love spending time at Aunt Emily's, she always has such fun things for them to do.  She took them to get some yummy Halloween themed drinks.  Tabitha even lost another tooth!!  Brandon and I went to the movie "Magnificent 7", Emily kept calling us so I finally left the theater thinking it was an emergency and it was Tabitha calling about her tooth before Emily realized!

Swim meet

 

The girls had a swim meet tonight in Kamas.  Emily drove up the cheer the girls on and we showed up wearing the same shirt!!

Halloween decorations

I don't get out holiday decorations until after the 1st of the month.  The girls are always so excited to open up the bins and help me set up.  We decorated for Halloween tonight.

General Conference

 

 We love General Conference weekend.  The girls created a fort of sorts to watch the Sunday session.  We love when Emily comes up and the girls and Winston are always so close to her.  We celebrated her birthday.  She is on a special diet and our friend Lori made her a dessert she could eat.  We love Emily!
