Day #1 Disneyland and California Adventure

 Toy Story
Goofy's roller coaster, Tabitha was not tall enough the last time we went so she has been looking forward to this ride.  She didn't like it so much the first time but did it again and really liked it.
Cars Land was really cute and the holiday decorations were really fun.
Probably our last time doing the princess lunch, but we had fun seeing Ariel, Snow White, Belle, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.  We asked Sleepy Beauty what her favorite name was, she answered Aurora.  She was the last one that we saw and we should have had a questioned prepared for all of them.  My cousin Melissa and her family were there as well, it was fun to see them.

Bug's life is fun for the kids, the rides are cute

My Mom saved our spot for the parade while we ran to ride Dumbo
Watching the Parade.  We met up again with my cousin Melissa and family, also my cousin Lindsey and her two cute kids and my cousin Kevin's wife Kellie and her 2 cute kids.  We were so hungry we said goodbye to them and ate dinner after the parade and then rode Ariel and watched World of Color.

Today we got to Disneyland and California Adventure early.  The big attraction is Cars Land and radiator spring racers.  They let you into California Adventure 30 min before it opens and Brandon rushed right to the fast pass line for the cars ride while my Mom, the girls and I waited for the park to open.  We rushed right to Toy Story, our ride didn't work the first time so we got tickets to ride again, this time with Brandon.  He got the fast passes to Cars and World of Color and then rode California Screamin.  We also rode jumpin' jellyfish, the swings, maters junkyard, soarin' over California, Grizzly Rapids which my Mom and Tabitha sat out on and Monstor's inc.  It was a fun full day.

Balboa and Newport

We just finished watching Arrested Development so we had to get a frozen banana

My Mom flew in this morning and will be staying all week with her Sister Leslie, so we picked her up on our way to Newport Beach.  We rode the ferry over to Balboa Island and walked around and had lunch and a treat.  We then enjoyed playing in the water at Newport Beach, we were the only ones!  We didn't pack bathing suits but the girls ended up getting soaked and rode back to the hotel in their underwear.  They had a lot of fun playing in the waves and running along the beach.

Huntington Beach Sunday

 Our little collector
 Sunday family photo
Gabrielle didn't wear that right shoes and didn't want her feet to get wet so we stayed dry while Brandon and Tabitha enjoyed the water.
 We watched the Sunset
We always eat at Ruby's on the pier the night we drive into California, we love the location and the food.

We left yesterday to begin our week long vacation to Southern California.  We stayed the night in St. George with my Grandpa.  Scott's girlfriend Kristen also happened to be down there with her parents and they invited us over for dinner, yummy pizza cooked in their new outdoor brick oven!  The drive today went smoothly.  We swam a little at the hotel when we first arrived and then drove to Huntington beach.  My cousin Melissa and her family all happened to be in town this week as well and we ran into them at the beach along with her brother Kevin who was going to take their family photos.  It was a beautiful night.

Shadow Sunday

I loved watching the girls do little poses, I am not sure why I look like a big blob.

Snow Sunday

We woke up to a little snow today and  immediately after church Tabitha got dressed to play outside and was joined by Papa Fife.  Last night Brandon and I took advantage of babysitters and went out to dinner and a movie.  Shortly into the movie I was not feeling good and we had to leave and once we got home I went right to bed and slept for the next 15+ hours and then felt fine.  Not sure what happened, we did get our money back from the movie so hopefully we can get out to see it all the way through.

Halloween

David and Diana arrived yesterday after spending a few days in Salt Lake with Emily.  Diana helped today in Gabrielle's class for her party and I went to Tabitha's.  Gabrielle did some reading after school and then we got ready to trick or treat.  The girls had a lot of fun tonight, it got cold but they both walked the neighborhood with no coats and got just enough candy.  We have no school tomorrow which is great so they got to stay up a little later than usual.

Pumpkin carving

We carved our pumpkins tonight, always a fun thing to do to get ready for Halloween.
