Swan

Tabitha was a swan along with her class in the performance of Peter Pan.  She loves to dance, she had the best facial expressions during her performance.  She danced her way out of the building to the car and never really stopped today.  She is quite the entertainer and dancing really suits her personality.  

Snake

We went out to breakfast this morning for Tabitha's birthday and then took Nicodemus into Gabrielle's class.  We did this last year and the kids loved it but not all of them wanted to touch him, just watched from a far.  This year all the kids wanted to touch him and a lot of them wanted him around their neck, even Mrs. Hayter.

Happy Birthday Tabitha!!

Happy Birthday Tabitha!!  We sure love this girl and are so happy for her everyday.  She has so much energy, keeps us entertained and laughing, she has a wonderful imagination and loves to play with friends and her sister.  She will disappear during the day and I will find her in the play room or her bed talking with her toys. She says the funniest things, just the other day she said to me, "I am a jungle scientist, I know everything about plants and more".  She still really loves her sleeve and enjoys her quiet time movies in the afternoon.  I have loved spending so much time with her this year but she is sure excited to start kindergarten in the fall and go to school with Gabrielle.  We are having a special dinner tonight, breakfast tomorrow and a family party on Saturday.  She has loved being able to celebrate all week.  

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful day today and am sure lucky to have such a wonderful family and women that have blessed my life.  Brandon made a delicious dinner and the girls had cute little gifts for me.  We found this cute baby bird in the yard yesterday and watched as the mom brought worms to it to eat.  I love this time of year!

Mermaid party

 

 

Tabitha celebrated today with 8 friends for her 5th birthday.  She has been planning this mermaid themed party for months, and has the next 2 years planned out as well!  We painted crabs, whales and dolphins  played pin the tail on the mermaid, played outside with the baby chicks, Brandon got the snake out, had cupcakes and opened presents.  Tabitha woke up super early this morning and came down to our room saying, "I am so excited to be 5!!"  Her actual birthday is the 15th and so she will be celebrating all week.  We sure do love Tabitha and all of her fun energy.

Popcorn popping

We were working in the yard yesterday and Tabitha said, "I didn't know we had a popcorn popping on the apricot tree!"

Field trip

I went with Gabrielle's class on a field trip today.  One of the other first grade teachers lives on a farm so each first grade class took turns visiting.  The kids had so much fun seeing goats, there was a baby goat just days old, chickens, roosters, cows and horses.  If we had a load of money Brandon's dream is to buy a farm.
