Happy Mothers Day!

I am so grateful to be a mother to Gabrielle and Tabitha. Motherhood is hard work, but I am doing my best each day for these beautiful girls.  I am so grateful for my Mother and all the hard work she put in to raising me and my siblings.  She is a wonderful example to me and my girls sure do love her.  I am so grateful for a wonderful Mother-in-law who loves and supports me as mother and is the best Mimi to the girls.  I am sure grateful for all the other women in my life that have helped mother me or my children, we sure are lucky.  I had a wonderful  day today, the girls did a great job singing with the primary during sacrament meeting, I taught Relief Society, took a nap after church, enjoyed a BBQ dinner with family.  Kathryn was with her in-law four wheeling in Moab, we missed her but especially Layni.   

Dentist

The girls and I visited the Dentist today, this was their first time.  They did great while their teeth were cleaned and counted and enjoyed the prizes and video in the lobby while I got mine teeth cleaned. 

Watermelon garden

I worked last night and the girls played outside with Brandon.  Tabitha created a Watermelon garden and showed it to me tonight.  She raked the dirt, planted the seeds (pretend), watered it and is now patiently waiting for her watermelons to grow.   We then enjoyed just playing and hanging out in our backyard, the weather has been so wonderful!

Sunday

Here is our family picture from today, Gabrielle had just come back into the room from being in timeout, Brandon just walked in the door from church and after the picture was taken I left for work.  I have liked that I have been taking a family picture each sunday, we just take what we can get!

We had a "girls night sleepover" at my Mom's tonight for Kristen's birthday.  We had fun playing outside, eating pizza and cupcakes and ended the night with a fun game.  Tabitha was so funny when somone would guess what she was acting out, she screamed and jumped up and down.  What a fun night, we sure do love Kristen!!

Homework

Gabrielle brings home a packet of homework every monday after school that she works on all week and returns on Friday.  She has sure loved Kindergarten, I can't believe only a month left of school and then I will have a first grader!

Coloring machine

I told Tabitha she was a coloring machine.  She has really been loving coloring and does such a great job and takes her time coloring each page just perfect.  Tonight she colored while watching Dancing with the stars.
