4th of July

Brandon couldn't wait until dark to set off a few fireworks.

Tabitha got tired really quick of biking and hitched a ride with her friend Miles.

We had a fun day with swimming, BBQ dinner, dance show by the girls, childrens neighborhood parade, fireworks, sparklers and then watched the midway fireworks from our yard in the rain!

Shower cap

Brandon's sister Vanessa uses a shower cap and when she was here in May Gabrielle thought it was the coolest thing. She was very excited when she opened this present from Vanessa on her birthday. It kept her hair nice and dry for her sunday morning shower.

Family Party

Diana brought these darling hats that she made for the girls!! She does such wonderful work and we are sure grateful she loves to share her talent with us.

Kathryn's mother-in-law makes these cute watch bands, Gabrielle and Tabitha each got one. She also brought up a bag with all the watch bands in them and the rest of us went shopping after the party with Gabrielle eyeing another one she liked.

another cute hat made by Diana.

Saturday we had Gabrielle's family party, I didn't get many pictures of the party guests. We carried on with the Tangled theme and enjoyed a delicious BBQ and fun game of pin the frying pan on flynn ryder. She opened her presents and then had cupcakes and ice cream. We enjoyed all being together and are sure grateful for both of our families that show their love for our girls!

Rub a dub dub...

...two girls in the tub. Brandon's family came into town on thursday. We had lunch and then I headed off to work. I realized I had not taken a photo for the day so Brandon took this while getting the girls ready for bed.

Tangled Party

Gabrielle wanted a Tangled party for her 5th birthday this year. We sure had fun planning and getting ready for it. I found one person online that had the cutest ideas and I used a lot of them. When the kids first came I had some coloring pages for them to color, we then played pin the frying pan on Flynn Ryder. Vanessa helped me from Washington with a scavenger hunt that led us back to the table where we decorated crowns. We then opened presents and had cupcakes and then the kids played until their mom's came. It rained on us off and on which I was not expecting, but I think the kids had fun. My friend Anna from my ward helped me with the tower that we made out of rice kryspie treats, I think the kids were disappointed they couldn't eat it! A friend from work had her daughter make the cute barrettes that we gave all the girls. Diana made the headband and I made the 5 shirt last month after Tabitha's party. Brandon took the day off of work and it was fun to have him home and he was a huge help, as we were moving from different activities and waiting for everyone to finish he showed the kids the fish and he even brought out the snake! There were a few brave kids that held him. Happy Birthday Gabrielle, I can't believe you are 5!
